Sega Genesis 16-Bit Game Console Model 1601 with original controller pad and Sonic The Hedgehog game cartridge. This unit was built in 1991 and is the first model with “High Definition” and extension port for the modem but with the license screen at boot up. You can get an explanation in the intro of the video.

What’s been done:

• Console has been recapped with quality Capacitors from Nichicon
• Unit was taken apart and cleaned thoroughly
• Unit is clean inside and out
• Controller pad was dismantled, cleaned thoroughly and connections were re-soldered. All contacts cleaned.
